I love pizza and I just had to come up with a way I could still enjoy it and be healthy about it.

1/2 cups slightly warm water
3 tsp dry yeast
2 tbsp flax meal
2 tbsp flax meal
1/2 tsp ginger
4
½ cups whole wheat flour
2
tsp sea salt
Dissolve
the yeast in the water, add the ginger and flax meal, and stir well.
Add
the flour and salt and knead well for about 10 minutes.
Cover
the dough with a warm, moist towel and let rise for one hour.
Divide
the dough into 3 equal sections, sprinkle flour on a flat surface,
and roll out each section into a flat, round, shape using a rolling
pin.
Preheat
oven to 350°
Place
each rolled out section of dough onto a parchment paper covered pizza
pan or baking sheet, form a rim around the edge of each section, and
let rise for about 30 minutes.
Bake
each section for 10 minutes, remove and let cool on a wire rack.
Wrap
each pizza crust and freeze until ready for use or top with Tomato Sauce, mushrooms, onions, peppers, Vegan Italian Sausage, Spicy Vegan Chili, etc. and
bake on a parchment paper covered pizza pan or baking sheet at 400°
for about 25 minutes.
